My Baby!!!

I have the Surly and she is beautiful!  Took her for the first ride today and it was great.  I have never had a new bike of such quality and everything ticks so nicely.  I have to say that if anyone out there wants a touring bike, the long haul trucker is the machine.

Also, with having a new things, you do not want to get it dirty or scratched, so I may just stay here and keep it safe!  The first mark will be the hardest!

Diane has introduced me to some of her neighbours, who all think I am crazy for taking this trip - particularly because I am going through Kansas - and no one has any contacts in most of the states I am going to.  But that is why I am making this trip, so I can get out there and see the real USA!
